I just upgraded my Blue Voda to version 8.0.1.

I double click, double click and double click but BV will not allow me to edit the text in my web page.

Blue Voda is not like Dreamweaver.....you can create (and completely edit) webpages within the blue Voda editing browser, and then publish them individually, but it is NOT able to connect to your server to edit your published webpages "live" as does Dreamweaver or Frontpage.

It would be best if you familiarized yourself with Blue Voda completely before trying to use it blind. It wouldn't prove so frustrating that way.

All my pages are built using BV website builder are in a BV folder in my F: drive [partitioned] and has not been uploaded onto the BV server as yet.

Before the upgade to Ver. 8.0 I had been able edit and correct all the pages in my folder every day making adjustments and adding and removing text and adding new graphics and building new pages.

They are single pages [not linked as yet]and they have not been converted to html.

It worry me if I have rebuild all the text in a page just to make a correction of one word.

Try selecting the text and then highlighting it in order to edit it.

Usually one would double click the text to highlight before editing.

It wont highlight either?

Why don't you redownload the software and see if that takes care of it?

I had done it 3 times and the problem still persist.
"I cant highlight the text to edit"

I have checked most other features and functions and they work just fine.

I wonder whether anyone else is experiencing this problem with their upgrade.

Maybe it is a BUG.

Are your pages and the blue voda web builder both on the same drive ... perhaps when you downloaded the new edition it went to another drive?

My program folders are all in my C: Drive [Including BV Website Builder]
My data and documents are all in my D: Drive
I have a seperate drive for all web files I am working on which is E:Drive
and my Photos folders are in F:Drive.

My E: Drive holds all my graphic, images, 3D folders and anything to do with my Voda Host Web Site.

My problem now is I can double click the text in my BV page but it will not highlight so I cant edit?

But, I can't figure out at all why you can't highlight - not making sense - and I haven't heard of anyone else with this problem.

I am perplexed too. Last night I uninstalled BV and re installed the Zip copy with the same results?


I will try your moxie email.

I downloaded and ran the program and my Blue Voda Website Builder is able to double click and edit text again.
