Question I need help uploading files

I have a zip file on my desktop that I have been trying to upload into FTP. Could someone explain to me in very simple terms how this is done.

Also how do I open one of the files in Blue voda so that I can edit it. When I tried this I received mutiple "page expired" pages and had to reboot to stop it.

The files do not have a http:// at the beginnings.

    Many Thanks

how big is the file? and are you copying to ftp or draggin cos you need to copy from b.v folder preferably

if you uplaoding big files try to use an uplaoder like core ftp light its free on web

as for the editing a b.v page im not sure what you mean can you give more detail , are you trying to edit it on line, on descktop when you open b.v page?

if you wish to edit uplaoded files you can go to control panel and there is a file manger where you can edit or delete please be carfull though you may lose something

Question Re: I need help uploading files

HI I am confused altogether. I ordered a template from 4templates.com and went into soholaunch cpanel and went into template upload and pulled the zip file off of the desktop, but soho gave me a message that there was an error. So I had previously opened the zip file and so i decided to upload the home page and sub pages individually and it said it uploaded successfully, however, it said over to the right in red letters that it wasn't in format. Can you tell me what that means and how I can get soholaunch to accept the template I purchased from a link through either bv or soholaunch reference? Thank you so much for your help.
