My website is up and going. I have a e-book .pdf file that I want to sell on my website. I have already uploaded the .pdf file to a separate folder and it's password protected and working fine. Also, I have set up an paypal account that working fine, but say for instance a customer goes to my website and click on the paypal buy now button and buys the product, how can I get the system to send them a email with the username/password and to unlock the .pdf password protected file. Or do I need to get rid of paypal and go with something else - where the customer will get a email with the username/password of my protected file. I think if you can tell me how to write and automatically send a customize email to my customers after they go through paypal, I can take it from there.

You might try a service like this: www.payloadz.com Its works well with paypal, but there is a fee.
