Hi everyone! Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but I'm needing to add a shopping cart to my website........I've searched the forums and found that paypal is probably the cheapest and will probably meet my needs for right now. Not sure about a couple of things...... 1. does paypal allow you to have a field where it automatically figures shipping for you? 2. I have no clue how to import paypal into my website.......from what I read, it's kind of confusing and paypal is hard to get a hold of. Is there any kind of tutorial that I could use for doing this with paypal? thanks for your help! |

If you want to use the PayPal cart as opposed to one of the carts we offer, I suggest you login to your PayPal account and play around with it for a little while. But..... Our Soholaunch cart lets you configure shipping and use PayPal as your transaction processor, click the below to learn more..... http://www.vodahost.com/soholaunch.htm

As VH has just said - you need to go to Paypal and play with it. They do allow you to set options, however I don't know how many shipping options they have - but it's all there on their website. Otherwise, you could rebuild using Soho or another cart - or you could look at some of the other options KarenMac suggested - including Cart Manager and Mal's Ecommerce - both of which will allow you to use Paypal on the existing site by adding the buy buttons - and will have more shipping options. Mal's has a free version that might work for you - I don't know what limitations it has in the free version. CM is a cart you'd have to pay for (I use on my stores). As Karen said in your other thread - the cart really needed be be decided first - but this is not insurmountable - you just have to find what will work for you - including possibly rebuilding.

Yes, but you wouldn't be able to use the product pages built in BV if you used Soho for the cart - those would have to be redone and you'd have to integrate the two builders.

How do I build a soho site offline so that I can keep my BV site up while I build my soho site?
