Thread: Can I create a 404 Error page in BV then upload?

Hi All!

I currently have an error page that was automatically generated by purchased software.

I want to know if I can create my own error page in Blue Voda (where I understand the tools), and THEN upload or replace the existing page?

When I go to the 404 error page via Control Panel, all I see is HTML. I don't know how to generate anything in there.

Please advise with details of how to replace the existing page with one I generate myself.

closest you will get to being able to use blue voda for custom error pages would be to create the page, publish, view the source, and copy and paste it into the edit box for the error page. Although, I do remember reading someone say that everything might not work correctly on the page (I think it was some of the javascript elements).
