Red face missing link?

I have 3 links on one page to 3 different pdf files. Friends say all 3 connect but the third link doesn't connect on my computer.

Pointing at the first 2 links, I can see the url along the bottom of my browser.
Pointing to the third link, it says Done.

I could live with this, since others can see the third file, but I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong so I can avoid this in the future.

Go to www.british-cemetery-elvas.org
Click on Association
Click on here at the bottom of the page > Membership Application form
The third link, here, is at the bottom of that page.

I hope one of you clever people out there can solve this mystery for me.
Thank you!

Hi, I am not sure if it is the problem or not, but you have an empty text box very close to that link & depending on the browser it maybe covering that link slightly. I noticed for some reason I had to go slightly above to click on the link.

Only as a note! But did you know that you can make your printable page a normal BV page, but use the form facilities to enable visitors to type there details into the form boxes
& then just print the form ready for signing. Can be very useful for elderly & disabled.
Its quite nice to see my 87 year old mother can use the computer to type letters, but the hands are a bit shaky when using the pen.

Cheers.

Bless you, Chris. I'll sleep tonight. I couldn't see the box you mentioned but dropped the line down and now I can connect to the pdf page.

Can you walk me through the other option, please. People with dial-up/analog prefer a simple print option too.
The BV page [Membership Application aka MA] you get after the first here on the Association page is identical to the application.pdf beyond the second here on the MA page. Are you still with me?

What do I need to do to the BV MA page to make it printable? I-forms? I haven't used those yet.

Thanks for your help and sunny greetings to your mother from Portugal - though it may be sunnier in the UK today.

Thanks a bunch. Will get back to you tomorrow. A huge thunderstorm is overhead. Time to shut down. How do I correct the spelling on Association in Back to Association?

Did you make this with i-frames?

lol, my spelling! On your BV page, double click on the button, & change it under value/label:
There are no i frames on the page, its just a nomal BV page, but have used some of the elements that are used with forms.

Can you walk me through this Chris. You say that the html form you made for me is a BV page. I'm not sure how to incorporate it into my BV pages. Text box? Image box? It looks like something I need to link to. But then I wouldn't be able to tweak it. Hmm. Back to you.
Anxiously,

PS I just found your port_form.bvp attachment and opened it. BV opens up but I don't see the file. I typed in port_form.bvp and was told no file was found. I was able to access http://www.collectors-info.com/testing/port_form.html

And now?

Strange! Try going into BV & press File/New page/from existing HTML Page/ then enter this link into the file name http://www.collectors-info.com/testing/port_form.html Just check the remote on the internet round button is highlighted to green. Press ok. See if that imports the page into your BV. (Should do)

Ha! Got it. Thanks. One hitch: I can't scroll beyond the middle, where Portuguese is in bold. Closed and reopened but still same problem. Any idea how I can fix this?

My BV email notification isn't working again. Yesterday I checked the boxes of threads I've generated but the green checks are gone today. I didn't get an email notifiying me of your last post. Any idea what I need to do to make the green checks stick?

PS How did you get the icon to flip?

Cheers,

Smile Re: missing link?

I'm catching on. Certainly don't want to take up more of your time than I have already. I think I couldn't scroll down beyond A4 size because the form you used stops there.

I looked at the properties on your boxes and now know about edit and comboboxes. So I'll just tinker further and see what I can make of it.

Thanks for all your help, Chris.

Hi, go to user cp/edit options/ & at the bottom of the messaging & notifications, change the drop down box to Instant email notifications. Go to bottom of page & save.

Chris, one more question [haha] How do I make a print button work?
I've left if off for the time being. home>association>help>W icon

Haven't added Back to Association yet. Partly because the Acrobat pages don't have one either.
Your mother can have a vote in this. Thanks again for all your help.
