Thread: how do i stop guestbook spam?

some random spam postings keep popping up all over my guestbook for "prescription meds" and "videos of babes"

i keep having to delete them, but this time, their ip adresses stayed in place of the posting. how can i stop this from happening?

In your control panel you have an IP deny manager. Place their IP in the IP deny manager and you will block them from your site.

thank you very much, i have one more question though, how do i remove the rest of the messages?

when i view my guest book, i have to scroll down through multiple ip addresses after i deleted the messages to get to the postings that are meant to be there, and when i admin login, it displays the whole messages and the delete button i clicked earlier is just text, with no action.

sorry if that doesnt make sense but im trying haha
