    Default Browser Questions

    Hey all...

I posted this on another thread, but it got so buried I don't know if anyone read it.

I need some help and figured this was the place to ask for it.

I usually use Mozilla Firefox as my browser... in fact, the last time I used IE (besides just yesterday) was months ago. I love FF and never have problems with it.

Out of the blue the other day and after I updated a couple pages, I noticed that my entire site is a mess. Not something I did (I don't think) but the pictures are out of line, the links are messed up on the main menu bar.... but nothing else too serious. But it looks bad.

But it looks fine and normal in IE. ????

Could someone please check my website out in both IE and Firefox. (and any other browser you might use) and let me know what the outcome is. I'd really appreciate it because I'm just trying to figure out if it's something I need to fix in BV when I publish.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the replies and the compliments. :)

I'm glad it works in FF and IE for you guys... but I figured I'd do a couple screen shots to show you what I am seeing on my end.

Home in Internet Explorer 7 - looks fine!

Home in Firefox - what the???

Notice the top header images and menu bar look "corrupt" in the FF version. I'm not sure what happened on my end. :( And I didn't adjust the resolution on the FF pic. That's just how it looks.

I wonder if it's your end George.

Hmm... gotcha. Thanks for the pic and checking for me, Mike.

I thought maybe it was some virus or something... but why would it only affect firefox? I already did a full system scan and came up empty.

This is really strange. I thought it was something in BV and when I published, which is why I posted about it here. I did check it in IE just before I posted... hmm.

never seen anything like this before. but as long as it looks fine to everyone else, I guess I can just ignore it. Unless someone later reads this and has the same problem?

Here's a vid I made showing what is happening on my end when I preview now... and it did the same thing when I published.

It starts in BV, I click preview (which by default is Firefox) and the browser window opens to show what you see. I've previewed it in IE7 also... as before, looks fine.

Sorry about the low quality vid... don't have enough RAM (I think) to get it any better, due to the large screen size of the original.

:) Thanks Ann... I did a revamp earlier this month.... but recently have been going through a bit of confusion with this whole FF thing on my end... but it's really no big deal. (I just hope it's nothing serious with my system). *cringe*
