When I see others',
I can see their titles like, WebHosting - PostNew Thread, Professional Websites & Photography on top of monitor. Why mine only show Index, Faq,... only?
Where to go to correct it?
Thank you.

Go into your Page Properties - you can get there by clicking on "View" then "Page Properties" or by right clicking on a blank area of the page -
The first item there will be for the "Title" and that's where you put in the title you want for the page. Make sure to also go into Meta Tags and fill in your Page Description for each page also.

Hi, the naming of your page is correct as index for your home page. This is not the title.
The title is what visitors & SE,s will see at the top of your page. These are 2 separate things.
And to repeat what Chris just said - in the tutorials you were told you had to NAME the page index. The name and the page title are 2 different things. The name is what is used in the url or in the case of the home page - what tells the host what page should display as your home page. It has nothing to do with the page title.
Yes, I got it. Thank you.Originally Posted by Bethers
