Thread: Can you build a site for someone and they take control?

I have a friend who owns a Bar/Restaurant and camping business. I have just finished building the site for him and all that is needed now is to create an account for him. As he will need to change details on a regular basis could he, download bluevoda, sign in with the correct passwords, have me email the pages, import them and have control over changes from his own computer?

I have never looked into this so I don't know, as it is someone I know I don't mind going round and showing him the workings if it is possible, it will save me a lot of time in the future.

I believe that since the pages are available in .bvp format, it is better to use the original files and not import them from the net, for more than one reasons:
1. The text formatting will be lost.
2. Hyperlink formatting will be lost.
3. Menubars will be imported as linked images and not as menubars.
4. Dropdowns will be lost.
5. Javascript or php scripts included wil be lost.

However, with both methods, there is a conflict issue regarding image names, as the pages that he will republish himeslf in the future, could have the same name as some bv images on other pages already published.
