Thread: ?audio server prog. & newsletter???

hi,
please, plz, plz - enlighten me :)
I have a website with some other program, but was introduced to this and I quite like it so I am considering on switching to vodahost...
1) one big question I have - I am in the middle of hosting internet radio... program I am wanting to download for that is asking following :
" ...We'll need a special audio server program on the web server, called Icecast. And that means we need permission to install that software - not on your PC at home, but on your web server..." so I am wondering if I'll be able to download this special audio server program to my website with BlueVoda/Vodahost?!
(I know very little about computers @ the moment, but was told that "virtual dedicated server " is what I would need... is that something VodaHost offers?!)
2) Wondering also about putting "sign up for e-mail newsletter"... maybe wasn't looking hard enough, but didn't find it here...
