Thread: Different Nav Bars

Hello everyone

Been away for a while, how is everyone.

I'm trying to change the Nav Bars on my site and can't really find what I'm looking for in BV Nav Buttons. Is there any other sites you can download Nav buttons. Also where do I find menu bars in BV. ie with sub menus.

(I have searched the net but just want to see what other people are using in BV)

Nav bars can NOT have subitems. Only menubars (dropdowns) can.

You can make your own navbar buttons. Have a look at Custom Buttons for Nav Bar

Where can I locate menu bars and can they be used in a similiar fashion to Navbars.

On the extra tools menu bar under. Menu bar. Left hand side of BV
You can use coloured backgrounds if needed, but not images.
My site uses them on the left hand side menu.

I found a Tutorial on Menu Bars shortly after replying to Navaldesign.

I particularly like the Themepanel but unfortunatley it does not allow me to change the colors to suit my site. I can only get the white and grey background.

Does anyone know if there is a way of changing this.

Is there a way of changing the html color for the menu bar in page properties. That is to say I want to keep the current background for the site but want to change the colors for the "Theme Panel" menu bar.

I tried but it wont allow me to change the html within page properties.

The only way is to code differently the relevant css file if you know how to.

Naval I'm afraid thats well beyond my knowledge.

Is there a way a downloading other Menu Scripts to BV to use?

Why don't you simply use the default style and change text and background colours as you like ?
