    Default Video

Rather than insert a player can I use a goto text menu to open a video in a new page. I,ve been on some sites and the video starts to play right away, and indicates that it is "buffering" or loading.

Ummmm....let me think. Yes. Make it an html link, instead of inserting the video. Make the link point to where the video is stored (what folder you can find it in). You could experiement with the "_blank" in the target window, which would open new window anyway. Usually with video, if you insert the player and add the file, it will play on the page. If you instead just link to where the video is stored. Your vistor's computer will recognize the file and their default program will play the video in a new window.
