Thread: link to .pdf file?

1. I'm having a problem creating links on a page that just open a .pdf file. I'm sure it's something simple - what am I missing?

2. Also, how do I link different points on the same page? For example, on many sites at the bottom of a long page there is a "back to top" button that when clicked will take you back to the top of the page - how is that accomplished.
