Thread: problem with my webpage

im having a problem updating my webpage, everytime i want to update it..it does not update....i restart my computer did a spyware thing and cleared all the history, cleaned the cookies, what do i do i never get the answer....this happens everytime i want to update my page....i have the updated verison of blue voda too...please i need answers....this has only been a problem for the past month.... people have told me to restart my computer delete all the cookies and cache, and someone said i need to my my home page in all lower case letter...saving it that is.....nothing works... if u no someone that my no what's my problem please ask them... i need to talk to the higher up people on this board.....the people that run it......hhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllppppp p

If it is not letting you update (publish your site) it is because you have a firewall blocking it.

You will need to allow it in your firewall settings. If that is not it, make sure your I.P, master username and password are correct.

If that is not it, maybe you changed the extension of your site to .php and all your links are .html .. make sure in your Page Properties it is set to .html and not .php as you will not need that.

i no it's not the first one but maybe the second thanks ill tell u if it works

You will see that when you publish your pages it will be like www.yourdomain.com/page1.html .. notice the .html extension. Which means if you decided to just change it not knowing, all your links won't work because they will be trying to get to the .html page which won't exist because the accual page you published would be www.yourdomain.com/page1.php

To change this, right click on the background of your page > Page Properties.

would a no right code affect it???? i have lots of html on mypage check my page out to see if u think anything would mess it up,,,,,,

What exact page .. is it only a page or the whole site? I really want to try and figure this out, because something is wrong here ..

no it's the whole page i do new thing to the page and they don't update i have changed background, and fix up other things if u went to my page u can see that it's a nascar webpage so i need to update standings and schedules i redo that everyday oh and news too...im going to got to your page now my internet is acting up so.....it's taking awhile
