Default Read-only BV guestbook possible?

Is it possible to make my guestbook read-only? I have a BV guestbook on my site, and want to remove the option for visitors to sign their entries directly into it. (They'd have to fill out a form first, which would be emailed to me, and then I'd copy their entries into the guestbook.)
