Default Saving page width in page properties.

When I set my page width it does not always stay at the number that I selected - 800. I click OK. I save. I publish. The next time I come back to that page it can be anywhere from 800 to 1200. Is there something else I should be doing there?

    Thank you in advance,
    Deet

    Thanks for your response.

I began using BV the end of July. I would think the newest version was downloaded. I have version 9.1.0. That link says version 9.1.7 was released April 12.

If I should download the 9.1.7 I will but I'm not sure what to do and don't want to mess anything up.

    I'll wait for further instructions.

Sure hope that's the problem and it clears it up.

    Thanks,

(Have I done this correctly? The post, I mean.)

    post is fine.
You won't lose any of your work if you reinstall bv, no matter what version.
Having said that, there are a couple of things that can cause the page width to not 'stick'. One is if you have accidentally left something outside of the desired width, like maybe a header that is too wide, or an empty text box or something.
One way to find this is to do 'select all' in the sitebuilding page. This will highlight every item you l have on the page. Scroll around and look carefully at the areas outside the desired page width, and you may find something there. When you do, deleet it.

    There you go.
    Good luck

My computer literate son came in and showed me how to download that 9.1.7 version. But - it still shows that I have version 9.1.0. (Shrug) Yes, I rebooted.

Liz, I did try checking some pages for anything beyond the specified width and found one header that was just one little blue square beyond my line. The properties showed the page 947 instead of 800. I shortened it and will check it again in the morning.

I have to quit for now. I'll be back in the morning.

    Thank you for your help.
