Thread: Couple of basic questions

Hi all, sorry to sound thick, but i have a couple of questions;

1. I am attempting to get a bar running all the way along the top and bottom of my site, such as the one seen on www.nationalpropertybuyers.co.uk I can get the bar on the right hand side, however, i cant seem to get the ones on the left hand side as the guide does not allow me to. Does this question make sense to anybody atall?!! and if so, please could you enlighten a basic organism such as myself on how to do this?

2. Is it possible to create a link, but for the text to not be underlined?
If so, again, please could someone tell me how?!

1) Can't really help with this.

2) I don't know if BV has a built in function, but if you edit the inside html of the link's html tag, you can add this

style="text-decoration: none;"

This may or may not work, if BV adds a style attribute to your link when you make it, and then you add another, then it might ignore one.

To create a link without underline, highlight the link, click on the link button at the top and add a style using the style button. Just untick the underline box.

Not sure why you can't add the bar at the bottom, not sure what is stopping you to be honest sorry.

Finally managed to push myself into getting on with it!!

Hiya,

i just tried this and there is no box to untick? I know i have the newest version of bv as i just upgraded it to make something else work the other day.

Am i doing something wrong?

Once you had added a style, then click on the style, then go into edit the style, (just an extra step once you are in and have created the style)
