    Default background colours

    Hi
I am having a problem with backgrounds of pages.
I am trying to have different colour backgrounds for my story pages.
When I upload the pages to website all the page backgrounds change to whatever colour was last uploaded.
The pages are loaded into a i-frame for viewing.

Does anyone know how I can keep the backgrounds the colours that I upload them.

This is a very common problem. It is created whenever you create new pages from an original one, using the Save As command. The problem arrises because you are using coloured shapes as background. BV uploads them as images, and the background image has the same name for ALL the pages created this way. So if you change the colour in one page, it will affect other pages also.

    Solution:
For the problematic pages, CUT the background shape. Paste it back in the page using the Paste icon in the toolbar. Move it to back (as now it will be covering the content), save, republish, and REFRESH before you view the page in your browser.

Hi, Only as another idea! if your using just plain colors for your backgrounds & panels? You could also use tables as your shapes. These will also load a lot faster than shapes.

    Collectors,

Great idea on the tables, but do they always have "shadowed" effect if you color the border?

    Thanks,

    Mike
