Thread: unwanted posts on guestpage

Problem. We are getting a daily dose of either pornographic ads or ones to purchase online meds on our guestpage.

Can anyone make any suggestions on how to avoid or stop this from happening?

We are a church and really need to deal with this asap.

Hi, I can only suggest using a guest book that has the facility of entering a security code before being able to send.

Can you post the php code that you are using to process the form? That way we can see what you are using, how it is processed and maybe come up with something to help you.

Hello Andy128. I am not that versed in the php codes.
I downloaded the free guestbook from the internet and incorporated it into my site.
I think that I would prefer one that would have the person posting have to include some sort of code as we see on some sites with numbers and or letters with a diffused background.

If anyone has knowledge of any simple to adapt guestpage that will meet our need, please advise.

I Too am runner into this problem. i am using the guestbook from the bluevoda and i like it but i am getting to many x rated site signing in on it. What can i do???

clean out the php file...daily...we delete over 200 porno, ****** and other spam postings from this forum on a daily basis..You have to get use to it or get off line...the spammers are everywhere. Entering a captcha security code will only slow them down a little bit...but they are a persistant.
