Thread: made delay for viewing .SWF flash file

Dear Friends
I have a question about Flash files and I hope you will help me

I used a .SWF flash file , on a .jpg background
but because of size of that jpg background, the flash file will appear sooner than background ! and its not my favorite

I want to load the backgroud (that its a .jpg graphic file) first, then the flash will be appeared. I want to made DELAY, is it possible ?
NOTE:
the mentioned background is not TOTAL PAGE BACKGROUND. I mean only 1 JPG object under a flash file

Hi, must admit I cat see a problem with loading. The images are very small & loading very quickly. Which image do you feel is not loading well, as the only jpg image I could see was http://www.d-afrang.com/arm-back2.jpg & this is a really good 1.4kb.

I'm SO SORRY ... it is not JPG , its is a .GIF. I made a mistake

and the flash file is over it
the flash file will come before this GIF file so the effect of that flash (DERAKHSHESH AFRANG) will not appear on that dark place.
I need to appear this flash with delay, so the BAR.GIF appear first , then the flash file will be appeared. is it possible ?

Anyway , may I know your total idea (and if possible , some detail ) about this designing of web page?
whats wrong and what I must change or correct ? or any suggestion ?

Hi, Ok! This is a bit of an experiment but should work. On your BV page right click on the image we are talking about
( http://www.d-afrang.com/bar.gif) & use the “Move to the back” 10 times. At the moment the image is set at number 11 in the order to load onto the page & I am hoping that if we send to the back 10 times it will make this image one of the 1st to load.
The image is only a 18kb image so we can not reduce this side any further without loosing quality.

Hi, everything is possible! lol. But will take a lot longer. Is there a reason you cant just send it to the back using BV & publish again?. If not, & you want to do it via html. It will have to be done via your cpanel & edit the file.

the reason is I used the BV for making all of these pages, but there were something that I couldnt change in BV , for example , changing the TEXT direction in menues to "RIGHT TO LEFT"
so , I obliged to use HTML EDITOR (note pad :) ) and alittle force on myself to learn a little HTML, to be able to solve these little problems :)
BV is my entrance gate to this nice designing world and I'm going to learn more :)
