Hi, just create some more folders/directory’s in your public_html area of your cpanel.
So if you made a new folder called news. You would publish to public_html/news/ & you link to pages in this folder would be www.producedband.com/news/whatever.html
Good luck.
so i make a new folder called news, then I put news articles in it as any_kind_of_name and when i publish it it will come out as www.mywebsite.com/news/any_kind_of_name?
Correct!
great thanks, this is really helpful
oh,one more do i make my news homepage in the file or out the file.
Hi, not sure I understand. But usually the best thing to do is match your folders on you computer with the sites ones. This enable you to have (but not compulsory) an index page to each area/folder of your site. So if you produced an index page for your news area & published it to the public_html/news/ folder. The link would then be simply http://www.producedband.com/news/ The internet will automatically look for the index page 1st when it arrives at this folder on your site.
Good luck.
