Thread: Live Video Streaming

Hello!

I am developing a simple site with BlueVoda in which people will be able to stream live. I was wondering:

1) How do I create a window where to show live streaming?

2) How do I make the access to the live streaming content private? That is, how can I restrict, through a password, which users have access to stream content on the page?

Simply create a password protected directory (via Control Panel). There are 2 different methods to create a webcam stream discussed here in VodaTalk: the most recent via Windows utility, and this method via 3rd party compiler (to create digests -- not exactly live streaming, but different than a webcast).

Be sure to comply with Terms of Service, even though it is "protected" however, lest problems arise (with regard to Content of your "stream" and that it is webcam-based and not broadcasting)!
