Can Bluevoda be used as an ecommerce or is Soholaunch the only one?

BV it self is not an ecommerce program, but ecommerce can be added via many different ways, like Pay Pal & Mals cart.

I kind of had the same question... I like the flexibility of design offered by BV, but the failsafe setup of Soholaunch is pretty darn appealing too. Does anyone know if there is a way to use your BV design in Soholaunch? I'm assuming they're independent of each other completely.

Hi, you can use both programs, but not together. If you do use both! Have a think on which one will be in the home directory before you start. Or you will have to have soho in a sub domain as it needs a public_html directory.

Blue Voda can be used for ecommerce if you use an addon cart like paypal, mals ecart or cartmanager for coding the buttons.

soholaunch is designed to be a FULL site builder but you could build your intro pages in bv and install soho to a SUBdomain, MAIN domain, or Addon domain but it must be a CLEAN slate, nothing else in that folder. With a little work, soho is fully customizable, and there are several resources to get the template you want reasonably if you arent resourceful enough to do one yourself, including flash headers etc.

What you need to do is examine and research what you want on your site before you install or use anything. You need to decide your shipping needs, your design needs, if you need specific forms etc. Plenty of people here do both and use many.
