Default width of pages

Hi,

Here's my problem - my site shows up online with an edge on the right, instead of filling the screen...
I didn't have this problem with the first time I made the site, but when I redesigned it, is when it happened.
how do I correct this?
thank you!

Your website will look different on different computers because different people set the resolution differently.

If you build the site 800 wide, it will fill the entire screen on anyone's computer that has their resolution set at 800. That, today, is about 10-15% of the people. Most people are now at 1024 or up. So if you build at about 1000, your website will fill those browsers, but cause those at 800 to scroll left to right. Those over 1024 will have some space.

mmyplace:

Chris means 'ticked' when he says 'ticket'.
