Thread: OH!OH! I've lost my files!

Hello All- I've been gone a while, since getting my sites up and running have moved on to other things for a while. Decided today to make some site changes, and noticed my Blue Voda shortcut was missing. Went looking for it unsuccessfully. Found other files, but not my shortcut, and couldn't figure out how to get back into the builder with what I did find. Sooooo, I re-downloaded BV, (says to load over previous version, so I thought that would solve my problem)...have the shortcut again, but NO files are there to be opened! The files (index,about,etc.) are still in my computer, but not in the builder.
OMG! What have I done? And how to fix it????

Are you sure you are logged in on your computer as the same user. If you have multiple users you can log in as each has their own my documents, and desktop, which explains why you can't see either on your computer if you are using the wrong user

Yes, it's just me!
All my FTP stuff is still there, but no files to open.

OK now!
Found my files, and opened from there.
Goodness! Scared me to death!

Debbie you say your files are in your computor. Where are they in your computor? If you want to call me go to my website and call me, perhaps it would be easier to determine how to get them in you Blue Voda folder.

Thank you mrmagoo, I found them, and got them back in once I re downloaded BV. Pretty scary there for awhile!
