Thread: remove pictures white background

Hi,
someone can help me how to remove the background from pictures?
Manytime I need to use pictures without theyr backgrounds. I am using pictures with one colour background ( normally white ). What I have to do to place the pictures only.
How I can added a shadow to a pictures?

Hi, you will need some software for this. But you cant remove the background from a jpg image (as far as i know) But you can change the background colour to blend in with the site. (assuming its 1 colour?) The other alternative is converting the image to gif or png & then to make the background transparent. But you will have to post what image program you are using to get some answers.
