I want a piece of text to link to another, larger piece of text further down the same page. I don't really want to use a text menu as this text would be blue and I want my text to be orange.
Any ideas please

It won't be blue if you already change to orange, when preview or after published.
To do it :
double click text > link > type in URL > go to apperance > click edit style > click Add > And change any color of LINKED, VISITED LINK, ACTIVE LINK AND HOVER LINK and may change fonts to BOLD, ITALIC AND UNDERLINED.
Hi, use this thread & edit your links for orange under styles when you enter the url to a link.
Ok so I've managed to get the text to link to text further down the page using a bookmark, but I still cannot get the text in the colour I want, I did what you said but it goes from blue to purplely when clicked.
To explain further, I want my links to be text as appossed to buttons.
Thanks again
Julie
jaykay,
When you select your link URL's there is a section that says "Style"
Go there and change the colors to whatever you want and set a syle number to it.
see the attached screen shot.

Hi, when you have made your style, have a look to see if the style drop down box is on the style you want. IE:style 1 & not "None".
It will also apear in blue on your page & will change when previewed.
Thanks again, I've done it. I had set the style that I wanted but hadn't selected to use it in the drop down box.
