Thread: Page width Problem!

Heyy.
I've been having problems with my index page width. When i publish it, it is about 3 times as wide as what i set it to be.
The page doesn't seem to be recognising the length or width settings im giving it.
can someone please help me?
because my homepage looks really stupid at the moment..

Ok!
1st remove this image http://www.lovetheveronicas.com/ahah1.jpg from your page
2nd. Now place the image in the attachment bellow on the front of the page & send to back by right clicking on the image. (Position as needed)
3rd. Go to Menu>View>page properties> & Set the page with to 723 & lenth to 3000, Check the center in page box. Now click on the Background tab & set the background to Black. Press ok & give that a try.

i just tried that, and the page is still really wide..
is there anything else i could try?

You have some black rectangles in your page, to the right of the main content. These are the ones that create the problem.
Solution:

open your page in BV. Turn the background color to white.
Set the page width to 5000 and hight to 5000 (so you can scroll down and to the right)
Spot and delete the rectangles. Click on Edit, Select All. Whilst the entire content is selected, use the keyboard arrows to MOVE the content to the extreme left part of the page.
Set the correct width (723 ) save and publish again.
Refresh your browser to see the edited page.
