Default English Page Showing up in Greek!

Finally did the Greek pages of our site but now something very strange is happening. My English index page is appearing with the Greek dialog boxes
HALF the time. I named the Greek home page 'Greek' so there wouldn't be
confusion. What could be causing this to happen? The Greek doesn't always appear, that's the wierd bit..8>(

    Thanks,
    Marcie

    Arrow Greek/English Mixup!

Hello, Vassili, help! 17 people have looked at this thread but the Greeks still haven't arrived! I've checked and republished and the dialog boxes are still interchanging occassionally.

    Thanks as always,

Thumbs up Re: English Page Showing up in Greek!

    Hi Marcie,

I have just been to your website and tested both the English and Greek pages.

They are both working perfectly. No mistakes at all.

Ask a few of your office mates and friends to access the pages to confirm.

    Lovely website. I like it.

Yes...I see what you are referring to...the greek side showing the english version. The first three navigation buttons on the left show english but the rest show greek. I can't help you, other than to confirm that you are not halucinating.

That being said, it is only the greek side that I see a problem.

so if your english side was showing greek, then you are making definite headway. I have my browser set to no cache and like I said the only problem I can see is the top three greek nav links show english.

You may end up with a lot of conflicts keeping the pages in the same directory. It may help to have www.redtractorfarm.com directory (public_html) as the english site, & www.redtractorfarm.com/greek/ for your greek side (public_html/greek/).

Might be worth putting a shout out to Navaldesign on this if you have major problems.

Cool Re: English Page Showing up in Greek!

I was beginning to wonder what was going on and am really glad to have the feedback. Your suggestion makes sense Chris, although I don't have a
clue about how to go about creating 2nd directories. At least I'm pointed
in a direction. I've been afraid to try tweeking anything in case the problem gets worse. Thanks again...

If you need to do this?
C Panel>File Manager>Public_html> Top of the page, click on create New Folder. Enter greek & press Create.
Now publish any greek pages to Public_html/greek/
The down side is that you would have to go through the site & update all your links. IE:
http://www.redtractorfarm.com/greek/ should be the Greek home page &
http://www.redtractorfarm.com/greek/aboutusgr.html would be the Greek about us page, & so on.

    Good luck.
