Thread: Thank You Page Page

Well as of now I just want to make sure on the thank you page I just got my computer back and this is the final page for now In the tutorials it does not mention to save the thank you as a file In the tutorial when they show published its untiled to me that does not make sense. I believe you save it as thank-you or thankyou in the bv file just needed it to be clear. thanks

Your post is not very clear. I will guess that you are talking about a form ?

If yes, all your questions are answered in the Forms Tutorial. Look UNDER the video tutorial, there is VERY detailed step by step guide with the full procedure, code, details, file naming etc.

The form that I am talking about is the thank you page fior the email. I have it done with the code and all. If you look at the page in the tutorial the women says make sure that you save the page and publish.If you look at the page she published its not named its UNTITLED look at the tutororial your self you will see what I am talking about.

I will save it as thank-you in my files it should stll work it done with the code html and the .php in page properties.

The TITLE attribute is important only from the Search Engines point of view, not from the functional point of view. What IS important is that you SAVE the thankyou page with the SAME name that you have typed in your form "action" field.

If in the form action field you have typed "action.php" then you need to save your thank you page as "action".

The name is not important, as long as the two are the same.

the title is an entirely different ssue, it should be named something like "Thank you Page" or similar.
