Thread: text white background

anyone have any idea when i put text on a black background website or over a picture its no see through like .gif picture but has a white background behind the text. (the text is NOT a picture its the text tool in Bluevoda)

Right click on the text in question in BV and select Properties. Make sure that the background color is 'automatic'

awsome dude that worked for the white text but all colored text wont work, hasthe white background still....

It turns white background when you type the colored text, but does it stay white when you click outside of the text box? And when you publish? WIth automatic setting?

Right click on a blank space on the page. Click on Page Properties and then click Background. Make sure your Background shows as Black and text as the appropriate color.

yes stillno change even if i change the colors around the white text still works but colored text has white background likes its highlighted after publishing or previewing

I'll rely on someone more experienced to jump in then. I took one of my pages and changed the background to black and the text to red and I get red text on a black background.
