Thread: index page of add-on domain does not show up

Hello everybody,

I have created a subdomain called imwebdesign and an add-on domain www.imwebdesign.biz (registered with bluevoda as a subdomain of www.iampresence.biz) as mentioned in the specific tutorials
I have created the index page (saved it as index with low letters) as index.bvp in bluvoda website builder.
I have published the page in the subdirectory public_html/imwebdisign
and in the subdirectory public_html/imwebdesign.biz but when i try to open the page with www.imwebdesign.biz I get the internet error page message "Internet can not display the page"
when I try to open the page mentioning imwebdesing.iampresence.biz in the browser, the index page opens but only the text is displayed and none of the banner and headers or logos, pictures etc... show up.

By the way when I created the add on domain it said that all files should be loaded on the iampresence.biz/imwebdesign directory (it seems to me that I have done this).

Does someone have any idea what the problem is?

Hi, if its a subdomain? the address will be http://imwebdesign.iampresence.biz/
It also looks like you need to pop into the Hotlink protection in your cpanel to allow your images to show. (I think)

I have checked hotlink protection and it is on and it allows file extensions .jpg,.jpeg,.gif,.png,.bmp

So do your think I should disable hotlink protection?

Hi, disable or add the URL of the sites that you want the links to work with.
IE: http://www.imwebdesign.iampresence.biz/

I have added the link as you suggested and the pictures and all the rest are now showing up.
I can finally publish the other pages too.
