Thread: how to make a standard web site whith a easy way to reorgenize it

how to make A WEB site which is using all the time the same template and then you can modify the template and that make changing all the website?

for exemple you orgenise the border and the menu on the template and when you change somthing on it, the change all the page on the website. which is using this template?

To do this with Blue Voda just create an index page and save it as a
"template ".

When you want to create another page just click on the "clone"
button at the top left hand corner of BV and select the template that you
saved.

i know this way (very simple) but when you have made a mistake on the template, then you should modify all page on your site web to correct the bug. (i'm to laisy to do that, and that need to much time)

what i would'like is to have a source that you can organise as you want and then this source modify automatically all other page. or the other page have tag or some thing like this to load the source on.
like this you can modify your standard easily and correct the small bug that it was on the menu (for exemple). and in 6 months you can change the colors or menus in 2 sec in all your website......

By writing your site in php, html using a stylesheet.css and possibly flash then it would be possible, but u would have to know what your doing.

Though you can do a menu in php or flash or using iframes but that would need prethought and added right from the start.
