Thread: Spellchecker is driving me insane!

Hello again people, one more little problem with BV 10.0 I hope somebody can help me with - Spellchecker.

• I am from Britain and so some words are different from the pre-defined spellings whilst still being correct, thus resulting in a page of red squiggles. Of course this is not visible to visitors when published, and so this is something I can live with.

• A few words have not been pre-defined. One such word is veganism which, due to the nature of my website, is a bit annoying. Again, this does not show when published and so it is not a major problem.

• Spellcheck keeps changing what I type when it really should not. For example, it will change September to the lowercase september. Hitting backspace after typing re-formats the word, however it is annoying nonetheless.

1) Is it possible to edit the spellcheck source file somehow (I have found it but I don't know how to access it. i.e: what do I open it with

2) Is there a UK Version of BV 10.0 I can download?


I do not want to come across as ungrateful; this latest version is a great improvement of previous version, however it would be nice if it was perfect.

Ah! if you cant beat them! Use the add the dictionary button. It will soon get the red lines off the page & those UK/US quirks.
