Is text inside an Iframe seen by search engines?
Thanks
Go to google and look at your site and see
site: www.mysite.com
then look at the site without images..click on the cached page and choose text only

Welcome back Karen and thank you for another great tip re. modus operandi. Slowly, but surely (?) light is appearing at the end of the tunnel...
My pages are now generally well placed on Google and Yahoo but could use improving. (Keywords/searchwords don't quite connect yet. Like, the word "music" is highlighted, but without the associative "poetry" - which isn't - a spontaneous search won't connect well. I guess... But I can wait with this topic.)
Regarding the original question (and I'm developing a new philosophy of asking first and doing later...):
I haven't yet put the Iframe on, but it would contain substantial info (bio) and the question is if this text will be recognized as content.
So, it's about the general nature of "text in Iframe" as a rule.
Thanks again,
Gabor
LOL.. well technically.. No.. Your iframe shows as the content.. what you do is put a link on there to see the site without frames type thing. SE does not like.. nor has ever liked frames. Then you generate just plain html pages without the frame.. or in text only etc..
Do you remember the program windows blinds? Where it put a fancy box around your windows display? And you could change the skins etc... same type of idea..

Decided. It will be plain text then...
Thanks, Karen, always a pleasure.
