Hi Vic .. it would depend what format your video outputs from your recorder. If it is a .mov file, you would be best to then convert this to a .wmv file before placement on your website using the windows media icon. A .mov file needs quicktime to view the video and not everyone has qt installed on their computer .. Watch your video length though, if it's real large you might consider converting this again to an .swf file (flash) or breaking it up into segments ..
