There is a bug in the BlueVoda version 10.12 The bug is a vertical space appearing between photos in the gallery once photos have been uploaded. No spacing or padding has been selected in the gallery, nor does the space appear in the gallery when using BlueVoda. The error occurs once the photos have been uploaded and the spacing appears to have become a part of the photo. Uploading the same gallery with the same photos with the previous BlueVoda version, the photo spacing is not there, so it appears to be a bug in the version 10.12 of BlueVoda. Thanks. Dark Side Sith Lord.

Hmm, I see. As you wish - http://www.darksidesithlord.com/my-c.../stampbug.html As you can see, there are horizontal spaces between every photo even though no spacing has been selected in BlueVoda. Uploading the same page in the old BlueVoda, and the spaces aren't there, so it's most likely a bug in the new BlueVoda, but I probably said all this earlier. I need to use the new BlueVoda to upload photos because of the updated guestbook, so using the older BlueVoda might not be an option for me at this moment. Please fix this bug, my website has been on a hold for a long time now.

So it is my understanding that you are using the "gallery" tool to do this .. is that right? Without trying all of that myself, what may be an option for you is the following: 1 - resize your images for your own thumbnails .. make all your images uniform size .. 2 - place your images on your page tightly together without any spaces 3 - link each photo applied onto your page to the larger photo either by just linking the picture and making sure the picture is in your same directory or actually placing the larger image on another page and publishing and using that as a link to the gallery pictures on your page.. a bit of work for you but might solve your current dilemma and get your website published .. And .. it will speed up the delivery of your page with the images ..

I'd prefer not to have my website filled with both thumbnail photos and larger photos, and I really don't wish to manually place each photo on every page and place links there when the gallery is meant to do all this for me. I'm paying for this after all, so I would prefer it if the gallery would work.

Thanks. I appreciate all your help, but in my opinion - Even though I could fix this in some other way, the gallery is really MEANT to work OK, but doesn't, so I'm not really the one that should be fiddling with linking a whole lot of photos when the gallery is meant to put links to photos automatically.

Yo! I know of an old man who lived in an old barn full of old rusted nails, but one of the nails was his favorite, so he kept it in his pocket. Then this other day, a pigeon sat on my hand. A gorilla rolled over. A horse ate some hay. And I'm still wondering if this problem will be fixed soon. Merry Hjamglamgla

I must congratulate & applaud you on your persistence of not using an alternate photo program or manually placing your images on the page & linking to pop ups. Well done to sticking by your guns with a problem that has held up your site for over six months with posts going back to December/07 on the same problem of getting a really annoying 2px line removed from your photo album. Myself as VH member will be really glad to see this fix implemented as soon as possible to ensure your site & I am sure many others in the same situation, don’t have this annoying problem happen again. Eh! I wouldn’t be surprised if BV introduced a 2px horizontal line just to get around the problem & match things up. LOL Good luck with the quest.

Thanks :) Well, It's true, I'm not really meant to do it any other ways when it should be working ;) Hoping they will make it work out soon. Though I don't know if they will have to make a new version of BlueVoda or if they just make a patch or something for it.

I got it fixed :) http://www.darksidesithlord.com/my-c.../stampbug.html I uploaded two galleries, one with the old and one with the new BlueVoda. Once I viewed through the HTML codes, I noticed that the HTML codes were exactly the same in both pages, though the photo spacing didn't occur in the gallery uploaded by the older BlueVoda. Although the HTML codes were the same in both pages, the new gallery's HTML code was set up in a different manner. The old HTML code had the code of the photo followed closely by </td></tr></table></td><tr> and so on, but the new HTML code appeared like this - </td> </tr> </table> </td> <tr> As if they had tried to fancy up the HTML code with neat angles and such, and once I took all those spaces away (Keyboard spaces) and took them all next to eachother right after the photo code, the horizontal lines were gone. I can now continue working on my website then, but even though I am able to manually correct this error, it would be nice if the BlueVoda team could make BlueVoda upload the gallery like it used to do. Thanks. Dark Side Sith Lord.
