I recently downloaded BlueVoda; I watched the tutorials and have the most recent WinZip. I downloaded the templates and saved to a template folder. When I open the blank page, click image and click the template nothing appears on the blank open page.

You either insert an image or open a new page from template .. that is if you saved something as a template from within the program .. sounds to me like you just need to insert as an image onto your page what you downloaded .. or what did you download, what is the file type of the template you downloaded? Can you look and let us know ..
