Thread: Awstats..found something I dont understand...

I was just looking at my Awstats and scrolled down to Top 25 pages accessed, at the top of the list is pngfix.*** ..... What is it? and how did it get there? and how do I delete it? :)

Its a file to correct flaws in ie that prevent .png images from displaying correctly. It was created automatically, you can just ignore it.

The reason it is at the top of your list is because the file is used each time a .png when a png image is displayed, so for instance if you had 2 pages, each with a .png image on it that each that get 100 hits, then the .png will have gotten 200 hits because it was used when the other pages were.
