Default text on site is different on seperate PC's..

so i publish my site (using corbel as my font) and it shows up that way on my lap top.. which is the computer im using to build at the moment..

well when i load it up on my desk computer.. its all in arial.. i tried setting the "default text" under page properties.. but nothing..

i just dont understand why it shows up with the right text on this comp, but on the other, its the wrong font..

any ideas?.. i even tried a diff browser.. (nestscape instead of the usual firefox)

    the site is..

    MustangAccentKits.com

yes, you will need to use web friendly fonts, or the font will always default to the nearest web friendly font if the particular font you used was not on the computer viewing ..

wait.. i understand, but at the same time, dont..

how does it work on my lap top with firefox, but not on the desk comp..

bc i built it on the laptop so it recognizes it??

also, im having a stupid problem with publishing my index..

i decided to change the index page up with a new menu button.. but it only works when i dont include www. if i inlcude it in the address bar, it brings me to the old index... what the heck!?..

helpppp i solve a problem, and a new one arises!!

It's because the computer you built on has Corbel installed with the other fonts--but the other computers don't. Mine doesn't, so I see Times Roman as my computer's best guess.

Here's a site that lists web friendly fonts--fonts common to all computers:

another option is to make an image using the text or font that you would like. since it is an image everyone will see it the way you have designed your site. also since it is an image you will be able to link it to anywhere else on your site or off your site. here is an example where i wanted jester font and used it through out my site.

now you will get comments that this is not the best way to optimize your site for search engines. my answer is: what do i want to achieve the look for my site or a look that will make the search engine happy.
    your choice.
    hope this helps,
