Thread: Need Help Please

Hi! I need a little help here please. After 50 plus pages I'm having a problem with one. I'm trying to delete "animals4" page. I deleted it in my BV files but it still shows up when I do a preview of my site. It is no longer in my BV files at all. Can't figure out how it can still be there. Yes...I refreshed my browser. I'm not knowledgeable of "CPanel" at all! I did go into my cgi-bin and delete "animal4". But it's still there when I checked the site. All it has on that page is the menu and a box saying...."coming soon". Can anyone either delete it for me or tell me exactly how to do it?

I can't find animal4 on your site:
"Not Found
The requested URL /animal4.html was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
so it appears you have deleted it.


How did you 'preview' your site? I know how to preview a page - from BV by clicking on Preview. But you have to open each page in BV. I'm hoping to learn something here.

Just type in the url in your browser. The site has been published. That "animal4" is really ......
Under the ANIMAL category,using the left menu,it is page 4.

The page is not there, you are probably seeing a cached version on your end. But as far as the rest of the world it is gone. Now get rid of all links to it or replace it using the exact same name.

I asked the same question and this is the tip I was given
