Thread: quick time or media player

hiya all.

can you help me.

what is the difference between quick time and media player when playing a video clip on the web?

also in either of these formats can you make it so that the person can NOT jump forward in the video? ie: i have seen media player working where you can either completly stop it or you have to watch the whole thing through, you cant jump to the middle of the video.

any help or suggestions would be great.
