Thread: Skype telephone icon

Hi,

I have just published my site at www.proglaze.biz

I would prefer not to have the skype icon at the bottom right of my home page.How do I do that ? I just need the tel. number to appear as normal text. Thanks.

guess you sorted it out because its not there now...........

But just in case.........type the telepone number in a text box(icon top of screen)

It is not your Web page, it is your Browser.

Skype has a plugin for the browser, that when it recognizes a telephone number, replaces it with that icon to show you that you can call directly this number using Skype, with just one click.

Only users that have this plugin installed, will see this icon, the rest see the webpage normally.

Hi David: I deleted the text box to avoid the skype icon from appearing. That's why you did not see it.
PS: the phone number was in fact typed in a text box.
