Thread: Is a long web page allowed on BlueVoda?

I know it sounds like a stupid question but it is not.

I have not publish nor my website is not hosted by VodaHost yet. It is still being worked on using the BlueVoda software. I can't seem to make the pages longer.

I try to type more information on the page, but the software would not let me scroll down futher. Is the page height limit because of the software?

Do I have to have VodaHost hosting my pages that I have made on BlueVoda to make longer pages?

Your experienced advice would be appreciated.

You need to increase the page length via Page Properties (right-click on any open area on your page and go into Page Properties). This will not only properly change your web page when published, but it will allow you to scroll as needed when working within Blue Voda.


* Keep in mind: There is no limit to page length, but there is an optimal Visitor standard (or targeted preference) called 'The Fold". Just like a newspaper is folded and thus puts greater emphasis on the top half of the front page, so too is your web page seen with elevated import for all your content above 600 lines: this is the area "above the fold" that the greatest majority of visitors will see your web page using their monitor settings 'out of the box' and why special attention is put on developing "high value" Content in this area in particular.

You should be able to right-click on a balk spot on the page and set the Page to what height (and width) you need.

Excellent information, as usual. The information on the "fold" is priceless.

Hi, watch out for the page looks when using different browsers on a long page. You may end up with a lot of over lapping if using a lot of text boxes.
