    Red face Google search

I published my site about a fortnight ago. When I search with Google, my site does not appear. I have already included some key works and meta tags on my pages as suggested .

What else do I need to do ? Did I miss out something ?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    Checklist:

Have you submitted site to Google?
Have you got any inbound links from other sites/directories etc?
Have you got a working sitemap?

If and when you have done all of these, then simply wait... it will happen
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

The fact that you have posted your website URL/Address below means that google and other bots will pick up your site.

When it will be indexed is up to the search engine companies, it can take a little while.

You can improve your chances of being indexed/positioned by using the BV site index program and by doing a little more work on your meta tags.

    Your Meta tags analysis. ........................
    Title: Title contains no errors.
    This tag contains 30 characters.

Title relevancy to page content is excellent.
The Title relevancy to page content is 100%.

Description: Description meta tag is too short.
This tag contain 37 characters. This is too short for what we would consider a 'robot friendly' description. The minimum number of characters we recommend for this tag is 50.

Description meta tag relevancy to page content is good.
The Description meta tag relevancy to page content is 75%.

Keywords: Keywords meta tag relevancy to page content is fair.
The keywords meta tag relevancy to page content is 60%.

    Thanks Guys !

Now I have to figure out how to submit my site to Google and setup a working sitemap. I'll try searching for answers.

    Hi James :)

You can do your sitemap in BV - under Tools/Sitemap
Try registering with every free online business directory that covers your area, especially those to do with home renovation etc - this will give you links quickly, plus help bring in business.
