    Default current version of BV

My domain is www.customplastic.net, I have down loaded the newest version of BV (10.12) was it supposed to over ride my older version?
When i try to open my desk top to modify pages etc, all i get is error messages ( ordinal 1560 cant open mfc42u.dll not found)
Is there any way to reload the older version or to fix this problem? Am becoming really frustrated, thinking of making my computer a boat anchor HAHAHAHA
    Thank you

I have 2 anchors on my boat, but a spare would always come in handy........lol

Open your bluevoda ftp program under
    tools
    in your top menu
then just click on any .bvp page and a copy of bv will open that page for you.
After that everything should open normally.

    This is typical?
I was under the impression that unpacking a new3ly downloaded version of Blue Voda completely overwrote the previous, and prior to opening any BV-created page with the new version, it was suggested you backup the entire BV Folder (in case an error occured) -- and that when you went to open a previous BV version created page, everything was opened normal and automatically "converted" to the new BV version?

Thats true vasili but things dont always go smoothly.

This also happened to me when I upgraded and I found this workaround.

There's another way that worked great for me. When going from BV9 to BV10 I simply created a new folder ("bv10") and installed to that. I was pleasantly amazed when I fired up 10 and went to open an existing page--they were all there, ready to be opened! How v10 was able to find the v9 files...?

Anyway, I've never read any post here of another person doing it this way, but this insures that your older BV still exists and is fully functional, it insures that all you pages still exist and are fully functional--no back-up needed (tho that's wise too).

LOL, Tom! I know ..... I suppose it's just another example of how differently people think and approach things.
I tend to be curious when things stray from standards or get "complicated" when simplicity works for me (as if I get second thoughts about my methods possibly being wrong or something!).

custom, you can google "mfc42u.dll" and easily find places from which to download it. I think you'll find instructions on where it should go and things.

    Hope this helps.
