You achieve this by getting the (i.e. papypal ) merchant to send the client back to your thank you/download page.

Just provide a text or a picture link on your return page to your download page. i.e. DOWNLOAD NOW clicking the above link will take you to this page again(only used as an example) |

David. I guess I'm a little slow. Here's my process. Someone goes to my site and they want to purchase, they click on the Paypal button. Then they fill out the Paypal form and click continue, that takes them to my Thank You page right?, now they need to make one more click to get their digital product? right? You lost me with the return page? I am not sure how to do this. I really appreciate your help. Dave

Clicking a paypal button usually sends a client to paypal to PAY..... Your return page is your thank you page OR whichever page you tell paypal to return to AFTER they have paid (be aware that NOT all paypal payments are cleared straight away) |

David. I don't understand why we are not communicating? I guess I must be explaining it wrong? I even called Paypal and they said I would have to work with my host. Dave

1) client clicks paypal button 2) client taken to paypal site 3) client pays for item/s 4) Paypal returns client to the url/address supplied by you when you created ...the paypal button. 5) client now back on your site (see 4 above) thank them and provide a ...download link for the purchased item. i.e http:/yourwebaddress.com/folderwhereproductsare/product.zip |

I cannot give you step by step......you need to go to paypal and follow their instructions on creating a "buy now" or similar button. Or use the paypal icons in bluevoda. Note: your link above is incorrect. |

Dave, I have laid out exactly what you need to do. Use the paypal buttons in bv, watch the paypal video tutorial and then you will better understand what is required. Or go to paypal.com and create the button required yourself. |

Thanks David. I will go to the tutorial. But, I have the PayDotCom button and html on my site that goes to Paypal or the purchaser has the option to use credit card or Paypa. The reason I am using the PayDotCom button on my site, they claim they can track things better. So should I leave that alone or change? Dave

With the amount of money that you are charging, I would go for a more secure type of download completley and NOT do it yourself.
