    Default viewing pdf files

    Hi,
    i have built a website for a client and linked a pdf file from a specific page, the pdf opens fine with internet explorer but when i try to open it using mozilla firefox i get nothing, any ideas as to what i might have done wrong?
    oh, the website is www.rightmoveinsurance.com, just in case anyone wants to test it

    Where is the pdf link?

    its on the information page, click on the title" what is insurance and why do i need it"

    Click on the link properties and change the target field to read _blank then republish

    hi,
    thanks i've just tried it but still no joy, all i get is a blank screen, this only does it using mozilla firefox

    Works fine for me in both IE7 and FF3

    Might not be a problem, maybe just a setting. I don't normally use FF so I can't tell you where to look, but check all your settings to see if something is blocking the file from your view.

    Hi Sara,

    Me think you need to install the latest Adobe reader on your Pc. and
    check out the Firefox addon list whether Adobe reader is installed.

    You still need to change the link properties to _blank though, then it will open in a new window.

    i have adobe reader 7.0 installed, is this the latest version? i have changed the link setting to _blank,
    how do i check the firefox addon list?

    Hi,

    Its working, i've just installed adobe reader 9, it must have been my version of adobe reader, but its fine now
