hello! just a quick question. i have an inline frame on my page www.livepetshop.co.uk/golive.html. it has all my products in it. its only a small frame, around 3x3, idea is people only see one product at a time, but can scroll along to see all the products. my question is............. is there any limitations to how 'long' this page can be? can it go on forever? (within reason) or is there a set maximum size aweb page can be, before it will refruse to publish or take a year to load? thanks in advance to anyone who knows! cheers :) |

A webpage can go on until the person scrolling over dies of old age As far as using bluevoda, it might time out if the file is too large, but I don't know For the user, eventually it will slow down, especially if there are a huge amount of pictures, just remember a dial up user is connected at 56 kb per second, so if you have 560 kb's of images (a little more then half a meg) it will take them 10 seconds to load |
